As a roof expands and contracts the roof system moves. This is a daily occurrence and is associated with Thermal Shock. During movement the SPF binds against each other. Sometimes a tree branch or flying debris may impact the roof causing damage. 3rd party damage is another issue. As people walk across the roof they can cause damage. Birds are a particular problem with SPF roofs. They love to poke holes and nest in the surface. The SPF Foam on roof has been damaged. Since this leaves the underlayment showing, it is our recommendation these areas are repaired.

Shannon,I thought you would like to know your crew impressed my wife because they worked until 7:45pm this evening, as she put it, to get ahead of the rain. It appears on the surface that the quality of the workmanship is there too, but I will leave that up to your GAF inspector.
We have NO complaints and like what they accomplished today. I tried to stay out of their way which must have helped their speed. lol

Community Outreach
Tri County Roofing and Siding gives back to the community.
We understand the value of community. Tri County leaders have lived in the Charleston area for several generations. All of our employees live in the area. We understand that generosity strengthens a community, and that a vital community is important to everyone.
Tri County Roofing and Siding is actively involved in innovative community outreach. We sponsor community events and organizations such as Little League teams, and high school football games. We’ve also been active in the following community outreach programs:
Debbie’s Kids
In 2010, we partnered with this Salvation Army program to provide a free Christmas roof to someone in the community in need. Tri County Roofing and Siding donated the labor and GAF donated the shingles. The program had more than 3,000 applicants. Tri County provided a Christmas roof, at no charge, for a cancer patient. When that person passed on, Tri County provided another roof for a woman with a serious medical condition.
Roofs for Troops
Tri County Roofing and Siding is a veteran-owned company, and we support our troops. In 2012, Tri County and GAF will partner in a program called Roofs for Troops. 2012 Breast Cancer Fundraiser
During September 15 – October 15, 2012 Tri County Roofing and Siding will donate 1 percent of profits to The Breast Cancer Fundraiser. We’ll further raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer; all employees will wear pink and trucks will be pink for the fundraiser.
